Workplace Programme
In response to the demand for assistance in improving health and wellness in the workplace Mishfitness has developed a workplace programme for corporate clients.Team Mishfitness personnel work directly with employees at their place of business working one on one and face to face. The benefits of being personally fit and healthy are widely known but there are also benefits to the employer from adopting a health and wellness programme.
The ‘Health is Wealth’ workplace programme commences with a motivational and instructional seminar designed to encourage employees to take steps towards improving their health and wellness.
The essential difference between the Team Mishfitness programme and others on offer is that Mishfitness visits the workplace on a weekly basis to work one on one and face to face with employees to educate them on health and wellness, help them set realistic goals, get them exercising and eating better and to monitor their progress. Mishfitness seeks results for everyone whether they are currently active or inactive.
Suburban Programme
The Team Mishfitness 'Urban Athlete' Programme is low key and appropriate for both experienced and new exercisers. It represents a unique blend of group fitness and personal training within each session. Each session covers:
* Aerobic and resisitance exercise sessions both indoors and out
* Suggestions for increasing daily activity levels
* Realistic and practical nutritional guidance
* Regular monitoring of pesonal progress
* Weekly educational newsletters
* Large doses of positive reinforcement, support and motivation
* Loads of fun.
Like the Team Mishfitness Workplace Programme, the most important element of the Urban Athlete Programme is motivation and the commitment to weekly sessions.

Wednesdays 7.30pm - 8.30pm - Jenkins Gym, Lower Hutt
Thursdays 7.00pm - 8.30pm - Nairnville Rec Centre, Khandallah
Saturdays 7.00am - 8.30am - Les Mills Extreme Gym, Taranaki Street
Seminars
Seminars focus on health and wellness and introduce those attending to a lifestyle that will help them to look and feel better.
Those stressed out and unable to find time to exercise and eat correctly are strongly advised to attend the Mishfitness Seminars which are inspirational and energetically presented and designed to both educate and motivate. Attendees won’t be disappointed and it will change their lives for ever.
Challenges and Events
There are a number of Team Mishfitness challenges and events available. Whether it be a 4 week perdometer challenge or a 10 week 5 in 10 weight loss challenge, Mishfitness challenges have been designed to provide participants with an opportunity to apply the knowledge gained about nutrition and exercise from the monthly one on one interviews and the regular newsletters.
Each Challenge is structured in such a way as to keep participants motivated on their journey to better health and fitness while also providing a mechanism for long term lifestyle changes.
